WHO WE ARE
Mariachi Quinto Sol is a six-member performing and recording band comprising of both male and female musicians with extensive experience in live performances. The band's frontman and founder Roberto Diaz, leads his musicians guided by his love for Mariachi music; the tradition and history of it, but also with the passion in his search for their own unique style and their distinctive musical seal.
Mariachi Quinto Sol is a vibrant, charming charismatic group of young musicians with enigmatic personalities, based in Los Angeles, California.
The band's proud members are: their founder and leading voice: Roberto Diaz; their violinists are Krystal and Nicole; Omar is their guitarist; their trumpet player Elias; and their guitarronista Jessica.
Mariachi Quinto sol has been the only Mariachi to perform at the legendary “Whisky a go go” in Hollywood, CA. They repeated their performance at Whisky 3 times. They have appeared in TV commercials, the most recent for The NFL Super bowl alongside Comedian George Lopez. Roberto their founder, was invited by the Mexican Embassy, along with various musicians from the USA and Mexico to participate in the Nice Carnival in France in 2018; where mariachi music made their strong presence be heard and felt! Mariachi Quinto Sol has traveled to Alaska and several other states to showcase their beautiful music. They hold the title of being the first mariachi band to perform at the Historic venue "The Airliner," and just recently, only a few days ago on June 11th, they performed at "Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts," prior to their participation in the Los Angeles Times "FESTIVAL OF BOOKS," hosted at the University Of Southern California.
With their impactful performances and modern arrangements Mariachi Quinto Sol has created a name and an excellent acceptance by the public; they are rapidly gaining interest and following from older folks as well as young crowds.
They have recorded their first 2 singles until now: "Mi Historia Entre Tus Dedos," "Tennessee whiskey," and soon to be released a cover to the Netflix series Narco's theme song: "Tuyo."
Their charismatic presence establishes a genuine bond with the audience, and their music exudes a rare burst of originality. Their rendition of "Tennessee whiskey, " and "Valerie," are amongst the most requested songs by people who go out to see their shows. They are truly unique with their musical approach!
